My impression is that people who learn Greek are already very good at several languages since it is considered as a very difficult language. Anyway it's true that some languages are very "popular" and others are not. It's not balanced... :(<br /><br />Well, it just occurred to me, but how about looking for a language partner who's also learning Portuguese or Spanish?
